The city of Richfield, Minnesota houses a little over 36,000 residents. As one of the first-ring suburbs outside of Minneapolis, it benefits from having big-city amenities while still offering a suburban style of living. Events in Richfield take place all throughout the year. The Richfield Farmer’s Market is one of the most popular annual events. Taking place during the summer months, this event features free kid and adult concerts held in local parks. The most popular event held in Richfield each year is the city’s 4th of July celebration. From community events to classes, the Community Center offers programming throughout the whole year. Typically, this programming is aimed at senior citizens, but the public is welcome to join.
